February is the second and shortest month of the year. Usually this month has only 28 days but this year being a leap year we have an extra day. The children have begun to read the calendar. Weather forecasts tell us that the cold wave will continue through February so we shall continue the present timings of 10am to 2pm for a few more weeks.
The gardens are beginning to look greener and the flower blossoms ready to bloom.
The kitchen gardens are giving us plenty of lettuce, spinach and carrots.
Basant Panchami, which heralds the onset of spring, will be celebrated when the weather turns warmer.
All projects this term will focus on the season. The children will learn about the nesting habits of birds and the beginning of the new cycle of nature. They are being introduced to the names of flowers that Ms. Mishika Goel so kindly sent us.

Notice of withdrawal |

Please inform us in writing whether your child will leave or continue at the magic years at the end of the current session ie March 23rd 2012. Notice must be received in writing by the third week of February. This information is vital as it helps us determine the number of children that we can admit for the next session.

Security passes |
|
Please be reminded that security passes are an absolute must when you pick up your children. Many parents are very forgetful about this requirement.
