ADMISSION: the magic years admits into its Infancy programme, children from one and a half years to two and a half years and into its pre-school programme, children from two to six years. SCHOOL HOURS: the magic years has a five day week Monday to Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm. HOLIDAYS: A holiday list is available at the beginning of each term. There is a summer vacation in May and June and a winter break from mid December to early January. All Government Holidays are school holidays. LANGUAGE: The medium of instructions is English with Hindi offered as an additional language. PARENTS AND SCHOOL: A close working relationship between school and home is very important. A clear communication policy ensures that all information is easily available to parents. PTC: Parents Teacher Conference (PTC) are held every term to update parents on their child's progress and project the programmes for the next three months. Parents will be informed in advance and given specific times for PTC and Observations, which are held throughout the school year. It is important to meet your child's teacher. We request both parents to attend all meetings. VIEWING THE SCHOOL: This is by prior appointment only. We do not wish to disturb the children, and in their interest certain days will be allocated for school visits and observation by parents. EVALUATION: A detailed report is given after the child has completed a year at the school. HEALTH: A health certificate from the child's pediatrician is to be submitted at the time of admission. All staff are trained and certified in First Aid, and in case of any emergency there is a doctor on call. FOOD: A nutritious lunch and drinking water are provided by the school. |
