What is Our School?

the magic years is a Montessori house of children established in 1978.

It is run by The Magic Years Educational Society, registered in New Delhi. Situated on a half-acre plot in VASANT VIHAR, the school and gardens are designed along Montessori guidelines and the school uses the Montessori Method of Education.

We have 200 children from over fifteen countries and all staff are qualified.

Collaboration with Shiv Nadar Foundation.

Montessori Method

The Montessori Method is a scientific method based on the discovered laws of development of the mind and body of the child. It redefines education as a process needed to develop and actualize human potentialities. It is concerned not merely with the ability to store and retrieve actual information but with the blossoming of the entire personality of the child. The habits and skills a child develops in a Montessori environment serve him for a lifetime. Concentration, self discipline to develop an independent confident, balanced, happy personality.

New Admissions

You may apply for admission to 'the magic years' on the forms posted on the website of the school between 4th of December - 27th of December 2025.

The years of early childhood demand of a child, feats he may never again equal. He learns to walk, to talk, he develops a conscience, memory and gains knowledge through his own experiences and lays the foundations of his personality. In the early years 2/3rds of his intellect is formed.
